Privacy Policy

Innovative Heating and AC ("we," "us," or "our") operates innovativeheatingac.com and provides heating and air conditioning services in Fresno, Clovis, and the surrounding Central Valley. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
We keep this short and specific on purpose. We are a local HVAC contractor, not a data company. We do not sell your information.
Information we collect
Information you give us directly
When you fill out a contact or quote request form on our website, or email or call us, we collect:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Your service address or the property address where work is needed
- Any details you choose to include about your system, the problem, or your request
We collect this because we cannot schedule a service call, prepare an estimate, or return your call without it.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our web server and website software automatically record basic technical information when you visit:
- IP address
- Browser type and device type
- Pages viewed and time spent on the site
- The website or search that referred you to us
This is used to keep the site working, to protect it against spam and abuse, and to understand in aggregate which pages people find useful.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect payment card information through this website. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. We do not collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, biometric data, or precise geolocation from your device.
How we use your information
We use the information described above only to:
- Respond to your inquiry, quote request, or service request
- Schedule, perform, and follow up on HVAC work
- Send invoices, estimates, and service records
- Answer warranty questions and maintain a service history for your equipment
- Operate, secure, and improve our website
- Comply with legal, tax, licensing, and recordkeeping obligations
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not send marketing email or text messages to people who contacted us solely for a service request unless they separately ask to receive them.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers who help us operate. This includes our website host, our email provider, and the software we use to schedule jobs and send invoices. These providers may only use the information to perform services for us.
- Equipment manufacturers and distributors, when needed to register a warranty, order a part, or process a warranty claim for equipment we install or service at your property.
- Utility or rebate programs, only when you ask us to help you apply for a rebate or incentive that requires submitting your information.
- Legal and safety reasons, when we are required to by law, subpoena, or court order, or where necessary to protect our rights, our employees, or the safety of others.
- A business transfer, if the business is sold or merged. You would be notified through this page if that changes who controls your information.
Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technology only for basic functionality and for aggregate analytics that tell us how many people visited a page. We do not run third-party advertising or retargeting pixels on this site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work correctly if you do.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to these signals. Because we do not track visitors across other companies' websites, our practices do not change based on this signal.
Third-party tracking across websites
We do not authorize third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our site.
How long we keep information
We keep service records, invoices, and equipment history for as long as needed to support warranties, answer service questions about work we performed, and meet California recordkeeping, tax, and contractor licensing requirements. Inquiries that do not become jobs are kept only as long as needed to follow up, and are then deleted in the normal course of business.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a business of our size, including a secured website connection (HTTPS), access controls on our systems, and limiting employee access to what is needed to do the job. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Please do not send sensitive information such as payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or account passwords through our website forms or by email.
Your privacy rights
California residents
California's Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) applies to businesses that meet certain size and data-volume thresholds. As a local contractor, we do not currently meet those thresholds. Even so, we honor the following requests from California residents as a matter of practice:
- Know. Ask what personal information we have about you and how we have used it.
- Delete. Ask us to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to records we are required to keep for warranty, tax, licensing, or legal reasons.
- Correct. Ask us to fix information that is inaccurate.
- No retaliation. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity, typically by confirming information already associated with your service record, before we act on a request. We aim to respond within 45 days.
Shine the Light
California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code § 1798.83) allows California residents to request information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
Third-party links
Our site may link to other websites, such as equipment manufacturers or utility rebate programs. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Review their privacy policies before providing information to them.
Children's privacy
Our website and services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law changes. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make a material change to how we handle personal information, we will post a notice on this page for at least 30 days. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
